Carlo Maggi has been CEO of Margherita Distribuzione since 2021, he was previously CEO  Auchan S.p.A. between 2019 and 2020, he acted on various issues aimed at implementing the integration plan of the new ownership.

He has worked as a chartered accountant for almost 30 years, focusing on corporate finance, private equity and corporate law. He has also held top positions in leading nationwide fintech, financial companies, including public companies, and real estate. He has particular expertise in Circular Economy, having promoted and contributed to implementing eco-sustainable projects in the field of recycling and reuse.

He has a degree in Economics and in Law and a qualified Official Auditor and Judge Consultant.
