Summary

WRM Capital Asset Management S.à r.l. (WRM CAM) is an established and expanding Luxembourg Alternative Investments Fund Manager authorized and regulated by the “Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier”.

WRM CAM manages Luxembourg and other European funds and is part of the broader WRM Group which has been active since 2009 with people and offices in London, Milan and Luxembourg.  The Group specialises in Private Equity, Real Estate, Special Situations and Activist Investing.

We are now recruiting a Portfolio Manager to join our Luxembourg team.

The Role and Responsibilities

The Portfolio Manager must have the necessary skills, knowledge and expertise regarding “portfolio management” having regard to the strategies managed by the AIFM.

The Portfolio Manager will be member of the Investment Committees (“IC”) of the different funds managed by the AIFM and, based on his working experience, he could be appointed as Chairman of the IC itself. The IC is responsible for taking investment and disinvestment decisions for the funds managed, on behalf of the AIFM.

The Portfolio Manager is responsible for:

  • developing strategies for managing a significant portfolio of funds/investments;
  • regularly meeting with funds investors;
  • preparing and reporting on the various investments of the Funds and on investment strategies;
  • working closely with WRM Group’s investment advisors (WRM Capinvest Ltd).

 

The Portfolio Manager will also assist in the analysis of a variety of treasury activities including internal investment activity, external investments, banking relationships, cash management, and external relations.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor/Master’s Degree with a focus on finance or comparable qualification;
  • Several years of Portfolio Management experience;
  • Knowledge in the Real Estate sector & Private Equity;
  • Ideally already authorized by CSSF in the past as conducting Officer in a regulated structure;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Willing and able to develop junior staff;
  • Fluency in English and Italian is a must, knowledge of French is a plus.
